These questions are frequently asked questions from patients that have been referred out to another doctor by Dr. Epstein:

Why doesn’t Dr. Epstein do this procedure?

Dr. Epstein wants you to receive the highest quality of care.  If he cannot give you this quality, he will refer you to a doctor that will.

Is the referring doctor gentle?  Will this procedure hurt?

The doctors that we refer to are very gentle.  Some of our staff have been to see these doctors and have had great experiences.  Many of our patients have returned complimenting our referring doctors.

What will be the next step after I see the specialist?  Will Dr. Epstein be the doctor who will take care of the next procedure?

Dr. Epstein is usually the doctor who will take care of the next procedure if there is one.  The staff at Dr. Epstein’s office will explain every step of the treatment.

Our staff will assist by calling the doctor’s office that we are referring you to and scheduling an appointment for you.  They will get the soonest available appointment for you.  All emergencies are usually seen the same day.
